About Sally
Originally from New Zealand, Sally has worked and lived all over the world.(Tibet,Nepal,India,Bermuda,Scotland, Australia, Ireland,Spain, Netherlands,France, UK) However she calls Canada her “home” and proudly became a New Canadian June 2006, when she received her Canadian Citizenship.
In her spare time, Sally enjoys her own yoga practice, riding her horse, taking dance lessons and planning her next trip to a faraway land. This year, October, Sally will be in Vietnam and Cambodia.
Sally has worked with children for 26 years and children are naturally delighted to be with her. She is certified in both children’s yoga and Mum and baby sign.
An equestrian for 20 years, she does dressage with her horse Beau and is presently teaching at two therapeutic riding centre’s( Langley and Southlands) and in the process of receiving certification to teach riding to the disabled.
Sally offers riding lessons to ablebodied and special needs adults and children in Southlands, Vancouver if interested email her directly to book a lesson. 3yrs-adults welcome.
“My yoga classes are fun and playful. Children are encouraged to use their imagination, and we do many animal poses which the children just love. Children are never criticized or compared to each other and our cooperation games encourage new friendships and understanding of each others uniqueness.”
